Which noise schedule the sampler walks: where its stops sit between noise and picture.

Mostly visible at low step counts

Steps decide how many stops there are between noise and picture; the schedule decides where those stops sit.Karras and normal are the two the horde has always offered, and Karras is the default. The rest are newer spacings:
  • simple, exponential and beta are general purpose;
  • some are cut for very low step counts;
  • align_your_steps and gits read the model itself to place their stops, so they are offered only for the model families they were derived for.
The panel asks the horde which schedules the chosen sampler and model accept and offers only those, so a schedule that would be refused never appears. On a horde that publishes no such list, only Karras and normal are offered.A schedule marked as suggested is one the sampler's own authors pair it with.
